While IIM is a dream school for every MBA aspirant, there is the cost factor which plays a huge role. Aside from performing brilliantly in the CAT exam, or during the Written Ability Test (WAT)/ Personal Interview (PI)/ Group Discussion (GD), IIMs do not come cheap which can be financially strenuous.
