IIM Lucknow, the IIM Body conducting CAT this year has announced that a selective correction window will open from 27th – 30th Sep 2017. In case a candidate has made any errors in selective fields while filling the form he/she can rectify the same in the given 3 day window. Option to request assistance for PwD candidates will be available in the same time period.
Basis CAT 2016, following are the selective fields in which information can be corrected
- Academic Information:Information like percentage of marks obtained in 10th, 12th and graduation, board etc
- Work Experience: The no of months of work experience till the given date
- Program Selected: The candidate can edit the programs chosen by him previously
- Interview Cities: The preference of cities for interview rounds
Log in to the official website in the given time window. The tab indicating application correction will be visible. Save the changes and the admit card will be updated as per the edited information.
Things to keep in mind:
- Before saving, cross check the information twice
- Prior to the commencement of the correction window, scrupulously go through the previously submitted application form and avoid repeating the same error
- In case the corrected information provided by you is not updated on the admit card. Contact the CAT Helpdesk immediately
- Avoid waiting till the eleventh hour to make the corrections. Update the corrections as soon as possible, take enough time, and avoid any last minute mistakes
