PSUs recruitment through CLAT 2017! Yes, you heard it right!
Making it to the merit list of Masters in LAW through CLAT 2017 is not only a gateway to National Law Universities but also a great opportunity for you to get a job in one of the PSUs Public Sector Undertakings. If you are appearing for CLAT 2017 and aspire to work in any PSU, then don’t miss this chance!
CLAT 2017 is scheduled to be held on May 14, 2017. Candidates appearing for Post Graduate programs in the same are eligible to apply for recruitments in PSUs. Till now 3 Public Sector Units have signed MoU with CLAT 2017 that allows them to use CLAT 2017 score of Post Graduate students for recruitment purposes.
The lists of PSUs who have signed MoU with CLAT 2017 for providing employment opportunities to the candidates are mentioned below:
- Indian Oil & Natural Gas Corporation
- Gas Authority of India Limited
- Oil India Limited
All the participating PSUs will have their own application process and subsequent rounds of interviews and special tests for PSU recruitment through CLAT. The official and final dates to apply for various posts will be released soon.
Eligibility criteria for PSU recruitment through CLAT 2017:
Each PSU will have its own eligibility criteria. You will be required to go through notification of each PSU. However, in common:
- Candidate must be LL.B graduate with either 3 year or 5 year integrated law program degree with the minimum percentage of marks as specified by the PSUs.
- The candidate should secure qualifying marks in CLAT 2017.
Application & selection process for PSU recruitment through CLAT 2017:
The application form for PSU recruitment through CLAT for posts like Executive Trainee Law or Legal Advisors can be downloaded through the official links. You have to fill only one application form for the recruitment as Legal Advisors in each of the PSUs. In case of multiple applications, the candidature may get cancelled. The selection process for Legal Executive Trainees or Legal advisor in PSUs will be done on CLAT 2017 marks. Based on your scores, you will be called in for further rounds, which include interview and group discussion process.
