In the season of MBA exams, results and shortlists, Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) has released its shortlist on the basis of NMAT 2017 result.

The overall cutoff this year for NMIMS Mumbai is 210, increased by 2 points as compared to last year. The sectional cutoffs for the three sections i.e Quantitative Skills, Language Skills and, Logical Reasoning are 65, 60, 60 respectively. The overall cut off for the other two campuses of NMIMS that is Bangalore and Hyderabad is 190.

To check if you have made the cut, visit the official NMAT result portal.

The second stage of the selection process at NMIMS is slightly different from other B- Schools. It includes a Case Discussion round (CD), instead of the traditional GD round, followed by Personal Interview. The CD round puts forth a problematic business scenario. The candidates need to ideate towards a solution for the same. The aim is to test the logical thinking and the problem-solving skills of the candidates.

It is vital to rigorously prepare for the CD/PI round and follow the right guidance. Preparing for the second stage of the selection process can prove to be tricky if one is not moving forward in the right direction. To know more about how to prepare for CD/PI and SOP, click here.

While one more B-School has released its shortlist, many premier B-Schools are yet to do so. In case you did not make the cut to a particular B–school, don’t feel disappointed just yet.
