Institute of Rural Management Anand, popularly known as IRMA has announced the start of its admissions process for the batch of 2018-2020. IRMA stands to be a pioneering academic institution in rural management education and research.
About IRMA
IRMA, established in 1979 at Anand, Gujarat. The rationale behind its installation was to provide management education, training, research and consultancy support to co-operatives and rural development organizations in India. Today, IRMA is recognized not only as an institution of excellence in teaching and research but also for having successfully created the new discipline of rural management.

Eligibility Criteria:
Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum aggregate of: 50% – GEN | 45% SC/ST
- Candidates appearing for the final year of examination of Bachelor’s degree can also apply
- Candidates must have appeared for CAT 2017 or XAT 2018
- There is no age limit.
Note: Candidates who are to complete their graduation before 5th June 2018 may also apply.
Fellow Program in Rural Management
- The candidate must have possess a PGDRM from IRMA or Post Graduation or 4 year professional degree courses like engineering, agricultural science, etc with a minimum aggregate of 55% (at PG level) and 50% (at graduation level)
- Candidates must have appeared for CAT 2017 or XAT 2018
How to Apply?
- Candidates should visit the official portal of IRMA i.e.; irma.ac.in.
- Go to Online Admission Portal and apply online to the program of your choice.
- Pay the requisite fee online and click on submit button.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process on the basis of CAT 2017/XAT 2018 scores
- Shortlisted candidates will then appear for IRMASAT 2018
- The candidates who meet the desired cut off of IRMASAT 2018 will appear for Group Activity and Personal Interview conducted by IRMA.
- The Final selection is based on the scores from CAT 2017/XAT 2018/IRMASAT 2018 and scores obtained by candidates in GD & PI. The weightage of the factors involved changes every year.
