UPSC Prelims 2017 result out!!

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the result of its Preliminary exam today i.e.; 27th July 2017. The examination was held on 18th June 2017 across the country, notification for which came out in February 2017. According to the press release issued by the UPSC, all the shortlisted candidates are advised to fill up online, the detailed application form (DAF) for Civil Services Mains exam 2017.

The Civil Services Mains examination 2017 is scheduled to take place from 28th October 2017 onwards. The DAF for the same will be available the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in from 17th August 2017 – 31st August 2017.

The three stage selection procedure for coveted services like IFS, IAS, IRS, and IPS amongst others includes a Prelims exam, a Mains exam and an Interview. The shortlisted candidates shall now get themselves registered at the official website of UPSC before heading for filling the DAF online. The other relevant details like time table of the Mains examination and admit card for the Mains examination of the shortlisted candidates will be uploaded on the official website of the commission around two weeks before the examination. The scores obtained by the candidates, cut-off marks set by the commission along with the answer key of the UPSC Prelims 2017 will be declared to the candidates only once the whole three stage selection procedure is complete. i.e.; once the final result is declared.

However, candidates who wish to seek any clarification/information regarding their result of UPSC Prelims 2017 may call or visit the UPSC facilitation counter near the examination hall building in the UPSC campus itself.
