Did you appear for the SBI Clerk Main exam today?
The SBI Clerk Main exam was held on 25th and 26th June 2016. A total of 190 questions had to be answered in 160 minutes. Each incorrect answer will reduce the score by 1/4th marks assigned to the respective question. Except General English, the rest of the objective questions was in a bilingual format that is, in English and Hindi. You may note the sectional time limit has been introduced for the first time in this exam.

SBI Clerk Main 26th June 2016 – General/Financial Awareness sectional analysis:
Most of the questions were from the Banking Awareness, Financial Awareness and Current Affairs of last 3-4 months. There were some questions from static GK. There were 10 to 12 questions asked from Computer Aptitude. The questions were based on Binary number digit. A well-prepared candidate could have attempted 38-40 questions.

The overall difficulty level of this section was easy to moderate. The questions were primarily based on the fundamentals of grammar. An overall attempt of 28-30 questions can be considered as a good attempt.

The overall difficulty level of this section was moderate to difficult and a well-prepared candidate could easily attempt 30-32 questions. Questions based on Arithmetic were difficult and time-consuming.

There was no question from Computer Aptitude. Level of difficulty of this section was moderate to difficult. There were no syllogism questions. A new set of questions was introduced in the form of some triangle and dot symbol. An overall attempt of 38-40 questions can be considered as a good attempt.
