CBSE Class 10 Sample Papers Released

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the sample papers for Classes X and XII ahead of the Board exams. For students, the papers make for happy reading. This is because the number of internal-choice questions for most subjects has been increased significantly. That is not the only major change though. The question papers have now been segregated into clear-cut sections. For example, the Science paper had no sections earlier; but now, it has five. This will help students get some much-needed clarity while planning their exam-taking strategy.

Students can take a look at the class 10 sample papers and their marking scheme posted on the official CBSE site here. Following is a list of the major subjects in class 10, wherein the number of internal-choice questions has been increased:

1)Mathematics
2)Science
3)Social Science

Mathematics

Science

Other subjects whose papers have changes in the number of internal-choice questions are: Sanskrit, Hindi Course – A, Hindi Course – B, Elements of Business, Elements of Book Keeping and Accountancy, Carnatic Music Vocal, Carnatic Music Melodic Instrumental, Carnatic Music Percussion Instrumental, Hindustani Music Vocal, Hindustani Music Melodic Instrumental, Hindustani Music Percussion Instrumental, and Home Science. In all, there are 15 papers in which the number of internal-choice questions has been changed.
