The upper age limit has been restored in CLAT’17. For all of you who have been awaiting CLAT’17 age limit criteria, here is the latest update.
Finally, CLAT authorities have made the necessary changes and now a student above 20 years in case of  general category and 22 years in case of reserved categories are eligible for Common Law Aptitude Test- CLAT. Aspirants can find the full information over here.
CLAT’17 Age Limit 
For Unreserved category, age limit should be below 20 years of age as on 1st July, 2017 and for reserved category applicants, it should be below 22.

    • Dear Deepak, you are not eligible for 5 year LLB course, as the age limit is below 20 years as on 1st July, 2017 as per CLAT regulations.

       
  1. According to the draft that i read, the maximum age limit was 20(gen) and 22(sc/st) for 5 year program and 30 for 3 year program. Then a 20 year old should be able to give clat right? A person should be equal to or below 20 years, right?

     
  2. Am pursuing llb 1 yr and later on I want to pursue llm from symboisis, Pune or Christ university will I be eligible for clat because some colleges demand clat. And I will be 22 on 6 July so am really confused.
